About Lauren Flax:
Lauren Flax is a DJ, songwriter & record producer. Her discography is extensive, flush with originals, collaborations and remixes, including projects with a long list of world class talent such as Grammynominated artist Sia, Kim Ann Foxman, Romy XX and Tricky. It’s no surprise this versatile artist is in such high demand, whether she’s creating trip hop and down tempo with production partner Lauren Dillard as CREEP, or giving life to hedonistic dance tracks in her solo works, Lauren always captures the essence of the genre, deftly shaping musical ideas into her
signature sound. As a DJ, she exudes calm confidence and impeccable style. Performing internationally for years, Lauren
is technically superlative and delivers a host of Chicago, Detroit and New York influenced house music. In the midst of what is being hailed as a major revival of New York’s club scene, Lauren has firmly established herself as a fixture of this new era of dance music, she will no doubt continue to journey from cult following to club world mainstay.
About Mindy Sherman:
From creating vibrant environments for artistic communities to grow, to working herself into providing the soundtrack for dance floor enjoyment, Mindy Sherman’s dedication and ear has landed her recent appearances at TV Lounge, EvilOlive, Celeste, House of Sol, and various underground events including her own successful vB series and a new residency in Detroit.
About Samone:
Samone has been rescuing dance floors from monotony and mediocrity with a style born before disco died. As a child raised on Chicago’s south side, she spent countless weekends at the Roller Rink, dancing to her Mother’s disco collection, and and listening to WBMX on the radio. With disco and house as a strong influence at such a young age, it’s no surprise to learn that her first music purchase was the soundtrack to Cat People (David Bowie and Morodor). As a DJ for over a decade, her style encompasses a variety of styles from four on the floor percussive house, classics, and grooving edits to obscure yet approachable disco. Samone has orchestrated some of the most notorious Chicago area parties including Hugo Ball (former founding member), and her very own Changes. Currently, she remains a resident DJ at Chicago’s most prestigious underground dance club, Smart Bar, alongside Rahaan and Derrick Carter (to name only a couple). Her excellent programming abilities, layered with knowledge and experience, enable Samone to bring inspiration to the dance floor.
Currently Samone is the curator of Changes, which is both a party and record label.

Hosted by Here:
Here is interested in what ShannonBell refers to as fast feminism and their trans disciplinary gustemverks over the last 20 years, attempt and often fail, but still protean they move through it all. In mashing up sexual politics, identity politics and violent philosophy. They ask how can we become feminist queer post pornographers, hyper masculinized, as in the hypermasculinist work of Paul Virilio, who theorizes that power is about being first and fastest? What if we want to take it slow, real slow? What happens when we slow down and “be” rather then “do”. To counter that fierce force, Here uses shamanic energy work to follow flow and calm down.
