Every Monday we present Chicago’s top jazz artists in a lively atmosphere, full of cocktail-shaking and spirited conversation. Tonight’s band plots a winding path towards the sound and spirit of the classic organ and tenor group. Gerrit Hatcher, Jake Wark, Nolan Chin, and Bill Harris join on a series of suites and improvisations, paying homage to Eddie “Lockjaw” Davis, “Baby Face” Willette, Frank Wright and Larry Young along the way.
