Wicker Park’s Green Music Fest

Green Music Fest celebrates environmental sustainability in the heart of Wicker Park at the intersection of Damen, North and Milwaukee in June.

In addition to eco-conscious breweries and a broad assortment of vendors showcasing green products and services, the event features live performances from big-name music acts. Headline performers from previous years include The Wailers, Shovels & Rope, Guided By Voices, Yo La Tengo, and Dinosaur Jr, just to name a few.

Our south stage is powered by seven stationary bicycles! It is truly up to the audience to ensure that the band’s music can be heard throughout the day. Watch the highlights from previous years in the video just below for an intimate look behind the scenes.
