Illinois Association for Music Therapy

The Illinois Association for Music Therapy strives to work in the spirit of its mission statement. This includes our efforts to promote the advancement of Music Therapy as a professional discipline in the state of Illinois through public education and advocacy. Currently the Illinois Task Force for State Recognition of Music Therapy is working with IAMT, on behalf of the American Music Therapy Association and the Certification Board for Music Therapists, to establish recognition for music therapy in Illinois.
