Yarn/Wire

New York’s piano percussion quartet, Yarn/Wire, makes a rare Chicago appearance to share three ambiently virtuosic sonic concentrations. Performing works premiered on their exploratory Currents series, Yarn/Wire’s program will feature Mark Fell’s ‘Core, Self, Oscillation’, Catherine Lamb’s ‘Curvo Totalitas’, and Alvin Lucier’s ‘Oases’, three pieces generated through a methodical composer/performer collaborative process.
